As we continue to grow, we’re seeking a dynamic Operations Manager to streamline processes, enhance collaboration between trading and operations teams, & support our transition to a new system.
Position Overview:
The Operations Manager will play a critical role in optimizing our operational workflow and serving as the key liaison between trading and operations teams. In the first 90 days, this individual will immerse themselves in all operational departments—including Accounts Payable, Invoicing, Inventory, and Purchasing—to gain a deep understanding of our processes. Additionally, this person will act as the Point of Contact (POC) for our ongoing system transition, ensuring a smooth and efficient implementation.

Qualifications & Skills:
- Experience: 8+ years in operations, logistics, supply chain, or a related field, preferably in the lumber or trading industry.
- Tech-Savvy: Experience in system implementations or process transitions is highly preferred. Proficient in Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP System.
- Problem-Solving Mindset: Ability to identify inefficiencies and develop solutions.
- Strong Communication: Proven ability to facilitate collaboration between departments.
- Detail-Oriented: Exceptional organizational skills with a focus on accuracy.
- Adaptability: Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- Leadership: Ability to take ownership of our business and drive initiatives forward.
