The Opportunity
BIFP is seeking a Sales Representative to help grow our steel distribution business. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, developing new business, and working in a fast-paced sales environment.
In this role, you will identify new opportunities, support customers in the construction and distribution markets, and build a long-term book of business. Success comes from proactive outreach, strong customer service, and the ability to understand customer needs and deliver solutions.
What You’ll Do
Build and manage relationships with customers across the construction and distribution industries
Identify and develop new business opportunities through outreach, networking, and market research
Support customers with product information, pricing, and order coordination
Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth execution and customer satisfaction
Stay informed on market trends, pricing dynamics, and customer needs
Grow and maintain a profitable book of business
What We’re Looking For
Experience in sales, distribution, or construction-related industries preferred
Background in steel, reinforcing products, or building materials is a plus
Strong relationship-building and communication skills
Self-motivated with a proactive approach to generating business
Comfortable working in a performance-driven sales environment
Ability to learn quickly and operate independently
